Picture Book Mini Summit : Presented by Jon Bard and Laura Backes, of CBI CLUBHOUSE.
This online workshop was subtitled: "How to Get Out of the Slushpile." It previewed what the all-day workshop would include in detail later. Very informative and three other well known authors/editors also participated:

Julie Hedlund  www.juliehedlund.com
Emma Walton Hamilton  http://emmawaltonhamilton.com
Katie Davis  http://katiedavis.com

You can follow Jon and Laura at this web site:  http://cbiclubhouse.com/clubhouse/author/jonbard/

 Class with: Susanna Hill

This class consisted of a lesson a day, 5 days a week for 4 weeks, sent to my email. The lessons take about 15-30 minutes each. With her online help and classmates to connect with, it is one of the best picture book classes ever. Another plus, I can still stay in touch with the class and Susanna through the group Facebook page.

Check out Susanna's site and all she offers on writing and picture books: https://susannahill.com/

Video Classes with: Katie Davis

I signed up for a free (because I'm cheap) online tutorial by Katie Davis, Brain Burps on Books. It was all about creating videos for your website, on your u-tube site, etc. Now, I don't speak well in front of ...well...anyone, so I thought a video would be torture. After listening to Katie for an hour or so I was convinced I would be the queen of videos...HA! Anyway, I signed up for the full shebang. Wish me luck with my videos, and someday you will be lucky enough to see me talking to all of you on my blog, right?

Check out Katie's site, it's full of fun stuff for writers: http://katiedavis.com/

I completed an online writing class: MasterClass with James Patterson.
He covered areas such as motivation, a downloadable class workbook with areas for notes, lesson videos and interactive class opportunities, along with office hours for questions. The classes covered many helpful and important areas of instruction that writers should know. Check out: https://www.masterclass.com/

Workshop by: Meg Miller

"Revise More Picture Books Week" is a time to get your manuscripts together and work hard on those revisions. Meg invites special writers to share their inspirations on revision for the participants. It's a great way to motivate writers to work on those neglected picture book manuscripts.
